Detailed Training Process and Important Information

1. Registration

Please send us the completed online "Registration" form. You can find the registration form directly with the respective training courses.

2. Confirmation of Participation & Further Information

Within a few days, the participants or the client will receive the confirmation of participation at the specified email addresses. If necessary, additional data relevant to us will be requested.

You will also receive initial information, such as system requirements, a test link, and recommendations for your personal technical equipment or organizational details (for on-site seminars).

3. Testing of Login Data

Before the actual start date or the kick-off (for new participants), a short test run will be conducted with an EMA employee. During this test, participants will receive their personal login data for the respective "virtual classroom".

4. Invoice

After the start of the course, the invoice for the training will be created and sent to you or the specified recipient, unless otherwise agreed.

5. Kick-Off (for New Participants)

For participants who are taking part in a training or further education course at EMA for the first time, we offer a free, approximately 10-hour kick-off. This is necessary to get to know the training concept and the training environment and to ensure the efficient implementation of the training. This part of the training also takes place online. A separate invitation will be sent in due time.

6. Course Implementation & Effort

At the beginning of the program, participants log in to the virtual classroom with their personal login data. The stated duration of the training corresponds to the effective learning time, based on approximately 10 hours of individual learning time per week.

Due to public holidays, vacation periods or the availability of lecturers, the total duration of the training may be longer than stated. These deviations will be coordinated with all participants in good time.

7. Completion and Feedback

The programs and specialization modules end with a wrap-up workshop. In addition, participants will receive a feedback questionnaire (online). For courses with a duration of more than four months, feedback will be requested once or twice during the course.

8. Examination and Certification

In the programs and certified specialization modules, interim and final examinations are conducted as specified in the examination regulations.

EMA certification offers a recognized certification for the programs and partly also for the modules. After passing the examinations or interim examinations, participants will receive the corresponding certificate.

In addition, EMA awards digital badges for programs and specialization modules, which offer an innovative way to digitally recognize the achievements of learners. For more information, please refer to "Certification“.
