EMA Mainframe Academy's Blended Learning Concept

The EMA GmbH employs an innovative blended learning approach that seamlessly integrates various learning methods and formats.

Our training programs combine self-paced online learning with in-person sessions. This structured approach guides learners step-by-step towards success. Studies have shown that this method significantly enhances learning outcomes.

The majority of the training is conducted online, enabling optimal integration into professional life while keeping costs low.

Start and closing of courses

Kick-Off & Wrap-Up Workshop

The kick-off and wrap-up workshops are integral components of our training programs. They provide an opportunity for participants to meet each other, become familiar with the learning environment and the overall concept. On demand, we conduct these workshops onsite (especially for in-house courses).

Kick-Off

At the beginning of each course, we introduce our new participants to the learning methods and infrastructure.

Wrap-Up Workshop

This workshop serves to summarize the key content, clarify any outstanding questions, and – in the case of certified qualifications – conduct a final exam.

Our Virtual Classroom

Our virtual classroom is the heart of our training programs. It's where live online sessions take place, allowing participants and instructors to connect and learn together. All meetings are recorded for later review or for those who were unable to attend.

Additionally, you'll find in the virtual classroom:

  • Self-paced video lessons with supplementary exercises

  • Learning materials, documents, and practical exercises

Each participant has personalized access to the classroom, ensuring a clear and focused learning experience.

Live Online Training Sessions

Interactive Online Courses with Maximum Practical Relevance

Our live online training sessions are interactive and combine presentations, discussions, and live demonstrations. Ample time is dedicated to answering questions and addressing challenges encountered during self-study.

If you're unable to attend a session, you can easily catch up using the recordings.

Software & Systems Used

State-of-the-art Tools for an Optimal Learning Experience

To ensure an optimal learning experience, we rely on a combination of proven systems:

Adobe Connect

For our synchronous live sessions, we use Adobe Connect as our virtual classroom software.
