z/OS Communications Server (EN)

The goal of this module is to introduce participants to the fundamentals of network architectures in a mainframe z/OS environment.

Participants are familiar with the basic layers of network architectures, especially the OSI reference model and the TCP/IP stack. They know the key parameters and definitions, and where they are stored in a z/OS configuration. They are also familiar with the most important TSO, USS, and z/OS commands for viewing current configuration information.
